Fantasy of Flight One of Central Florida’s best kept secrets is Fantasy of Flight. World renowned aviator Kermit Weeks has amassed a stunning array of vintage aircraft from both world wars and pivotal moments in aviation history. Most of them are in working order so every day at least one takes to the air for an in-flight display. Fun Spot Find the big wheel on International Drive and you've found Fun Spot! Family go-karting has been taken to new extremes here, with 4 different tracks all challenging drivers in different ways. Racing up and over and around and around inches from the ground is a lot of fun. Titanic - The Experience Orlando Science Center The whole concept behind the Orlando Science Center involves a hands-on place of learning, where kids in particular can discover the world of science in fun and interesting surroundings. It's the ideal family outing, and though somewhat removed from the main tourist areas, the center is still within easy reach. WonderWorks WonderWorks is not hard to spot! All areas of the 3-story building are very hands-on and challenge kids both mentally and physically. Ripley's Believe It or Not River Ventures Manatee Tour Take a deep breath and plunge into River Ventures Manatee Tour. The beautiful Crystal River (about 2 hours from Orlando) is a magnet for those interested in Florida wildlife. It's home to a sizeable population of endangered Florida manatees, which you'll be viewing from a whole new angle as you snorkel and swim with these amazing creatures. Boggy Creek Airboats Glide through the wetlands on this beautiful Florida wildlife tour, the original airboat rides in Central Florida. It's the best way to explore the Central Florida Everglades and look for alligators. Disney's Spirit of Aloha Show Disney's popular Hawaiian themed show takes place in a covered, open-air theater. The evening spirits guests away on a journey across the Pacific that explains the customs of the Polynesian Islands. Featuring lots of elaborate, colorful costumes (grass skirts galore!) and native Polynesian dancers, it makes for a wonderful feast. Sleuths Mystery Dinner Show An intimate setting is the key to this dinner show's success as guests are sucked into a succession of quirky vignettes revolving around anything from a birthday party, to a society wedding, to a family re-union. Medieval Times Medieval Times is a tournament set inside a huge castle in the ancient European hamlet of Kissimmee! The tournament begins with a very colorful parade. Then gallant knights (each representing a section of the crowd) participate in various games of skill and horsemanship. The pomp and the pageantry is quite something and the action is virtually non-stop. Pirates Dinner Adventure Yo ho me hearties! The evil pirate Sebastian the Black kidnaps the beautiful Princess Anita right out from under the noses of her loyal subjects (that's you!).
