Absolutely FANTASTIC!
Had an incredible time at this resort. Very spacious and comfortable 2 bed / 2 bath with fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, huge master bath with jet tub, comfy beds, flat screen TVs, DVD player, nice balcony, bar seating plus full dining table.
Ethernet cable provided for free internet access. They set you up with paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent and a few starter coffee packs. Found a Wal-Mart nearby to stock up for the rest of the week. Didn't have any issues to test management with - so no compaints there.
We had a lovely view of the lake and resort from the 10th floor of Tower 4. I think there's 6 towers or so. Surprisingly no bugs - must use lots of pesticide...I mean it's Florida!!! I actually expect a few bugs and see others had issues, but we had none. View of the Epcot fireworks on the other side of tower 4 is cool, but not worth facing a parking lot all day - as advised by the check in staff. We did watch one night from the elevator bank window - You must see this fireworks show from Epcot anyway because much of it is a ground display. The lake view was much nicer. (BTW- Epcot food and wine festival was sweet! Best food we had all week!)
A tower under construction was totally blocked off, no noise at all, worksite was immaculately clean. You can tell they are steadily putting money into this place. The pools, bathrooms, lazy rivers, bars and facilities were super clean and well maintained. Plenty of fresh towels at the pools, slides for the kids, nice paver patios and beautiful landscaping. Decent food for a quick meal at the pool bar. Nightly entertainment to keep the parents chill while the kids swim and play. Free face painting, $2 sundae bar, arcade, mini golf, shuffle board, ping pong, dueling pianos, corn hole tournaments...lots to keep you busy if you decide to chill at the resort one day.
Location for the parks was awesome. Feel like you're on Disney Property with Epcot and Downtown Disney a skip away. Could see several Disney hotels from our balcony. SeaWorld only 15 minutes down the road. We did not do the shuttle; preferred to be on our own schedule. We were gone most every day so we didn't answer the 2 - 4 sales office calls per day. I knew to decline the initial sales pitch, a requirement to get your parking pass. I see some reviewers really get mad about this but I'm used to it as a timeshare owner - just say no and be done with it, don't answer the calls and it's all good. If you have time to do the presentations and can handle high pressure sales, you can usually get good free stuff out if it....but not worth the time for me. It's worth stopping in the lobby every now and then though - they have complimentary stuff going on to get you near the sales desk - a guy making huge balloon animals for kids, beverages, etc.
Overall, super impressed with this resort. One of the nicest RCI exchanges I've had in 10 years! Usually they're older and dated - but this was nice! I would definitely stay here again or at another Wyndham Resort.
